On 18 November, 2019, the Department of English Language and Literature, Adamas University, organized an educational trip for the Final year students of B.A. English Honors, to the American Center, Kolkata, where they attended an enriching lecture by Fulbright Nehru Doctoral Fellow, Mr. Rayan Booth from Washington State University, USA, on “Red Indians” to Native Americans. After the lecture and the scheduled question answer session, Mr. Booth graciously agreed to have a separate interactive session with our students. As American Literature a part of their curriculum, our students had a very fruitful interactive session and they asked very impressive questions to Mr. Booth, which he answered with immense patience. All the students have responded positively to this little educational trip and they said that they really look forward to more such opportunities in future.
