Phil degree from the Centre of Indo-Pacific Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University having worked on dissertation titled “Ethnic Relations in Malaysia: A case Study of Indian community 1969-2009”. PhD Thesis on “Multiculturalism, Citizenship and Minority Rights: The Indian Community in Malaysia 1969-2009” and subsequent grant of Doctoral Degree in 2019 from the same centre.
