Dr. Mukulka Dattagupta has completed her Ph.D from Jadavpur University. She was a Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral Research Fellow, 2014-15 at the University of South Carolina, Aiken, USA and has also delivered lectures at the Appalachian State University during her stay. She has completed her Masters in Comparative Literature from Jadavpur University. She has taught in the Department of Comparative Literature, Jadavpur University, as well as at the Centre for Studies in African Literatures and Cultures, Jadavpur University. She has a teaching experience of almost ten years. She has completed certificate courses in Radio Productions and in Translation as a Skill from Jadavpur University. She has also successfully completed certificate courses in Sanskrit and German from the same University. She has worked as a Youth Volunteer under the project Youth Community Reporters, a joint effort of the School of Media, Communication and Culture, Jadavpur University and UNICEF.
