Dr. Sreeparna Roy, Gold Medalist (twice), First Class First both in the B.A. Honours Examinations & M.A Examinations in Bengali language & Literature from the University of Calcutta. At present she is pursuing her doctoral research from Jadavpur University. Ms. Roy has keen interest in Bengali poetry, literature of Bangladesh and comparative study of language & literature. She has spontaneous creativity and passion for poetry that has led her to author few books and a wide range of poetry written by her has taken place in reputed journals, books published from India & Bangladesh. Besides, she has research publications in various accredited journals. Ms. Roy has joined Adamas University as Assistant Professor since June, 2017. Previously she was associated with Gokhale Memorial Girls’ College, Kolkata as Guest Lecturer.
