Dr. Pooja Banerjee has completed her M.A (2014), M.Phil (2016) and Ph.D (2019) in History from Jadavpur University. Her area of research is on “Water Supply and Drainage System in Colonial Calcutta (1870-1945)”. She has worked as research fellow for the project titled “Diseases in Colonial Bengal” under Prof. Suranjas Das, VC, Jadavpur University and Prof. Achintya Kumar Datta, History Department, Burdwan University (WELLCOME TRUST ORGANISATION, LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM). She also worked as a Guest Lecturer at Budge-Budge College (2017-18).
